Privacy Policy

This policy explains how VineTrack handles information when you use the VineTrack website, your VineTrack account, and the optional VineTrack for Chrome extension.

Effective date: 9 August 2026 · Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. Who we are

VineTrack is an independent review-workflow service designed to help Amazon Vine reviewers organise visible Vine items, product testing, review progress and related workflow tasks.

Important: VineTrack is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon. VineTrack does not submit Amazon reviews on a user's behalf and does not store a user's Amazon password.

2. Information we handle

Account information

When you sign in, VineTrack may receive basic account information such as your name, email address and provider account identifier from the authentication service used to sign you in.

VineTrack for Chrome connection information

If you connect the Chrome extension, the extension may store a VineTrack connection token, VineTrack account display information, the VineTrack site origin, and limited sync status information such as the time and number of items in the most recent sync.

Visible Amazon Vine page content

When you explicitly click the extension's sync action while viewing an Amazon Vine Orders or Reviews page, VineTrack for Chrome may read visible item information needed for the sync. Depending on what is displayed on the page, this can include:

The extension is designed to perform this read only after the user takes an explicit sync action. It is not designed to collect a general history of websites you visit.

Review workflow information

VineTrack may process information you enter into the review workflow, such as testing observations, notes, draft review text, workflow status and other product-review planning information. Some workflow information may be stored locally in your browser depending on the feature being used.

Subscription and billing information

If you purchase VineTrack Plus, payments are processed by Stripe. VineTrack may receive billing-related identifiers and subscription status information from Stripe. VineTrack does not receive or store your full payment card number.

Feedback and support information

If you send feedback, report a problem, or contact support, we process the information you choose to provide so we can respond and improve the service.

3. Information we do not intentionally collect through the extension

4. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to provide and operate VineTrack, including to:

5. Chrome extension permissions

VineTrack for Chrome uses permissions only for its stated single purpose of letting a user explicitly transfer visible Amazon Vine item details into the user's VineTrack workflow.

The extension package does not intentionally execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly code.

6. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. We may share or transfer information only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect users or the service, or work with service providers acting on our behalf. These may include:

We do not use or transfer user data for advertising, determining creditworthiness, lending decisions, or purposes unrelated to VineTrack's user-facing functionality.

7. Data storage and retention

VineTrack keeps account, authentication, subscription, security and sync information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and support legitimate operational needs.

Extension connection data stored in Chrome remains on the user's device until it is cleared, disconnected or otherwise removed. Server-side extension connection tokens are protected using cryptographic hashing. Sync batches may be stored on VineTrack servers as needed to deliver the requested sync and operate the service.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect VineTrack information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect access to their browser, device and connected accounts.

9. Your choices

You can choose not to connect the Chrome extension, choose when to initiate a sync, clear extension storage, disconnect the extension, stop using VineTrack, or contact us regarding your information. Where applicable, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your VineTrack account, subject to legal and operational requirements.

10. Children's privacy

VineTrack is not directed to children and is intended for users who are eligible to participate in the services and programs with which they use VineTrack.

11. International processing

VineTrack and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such processing.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as VineTrack changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
